Dr. Chitaranjan Mishra did his Diploma in Ophthalmology ( DO ) in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and Diplomat of National Board ( DNB ) in Aravind Eye Hospital, Tamilnadu. He has been awarded FICO by International Council of Ophthalmology ( ICO ), London. Before joining Subspecialty fellowship, he worked in Trilochan Netralaya, Sambalpur, which is the only charitable high volume eye care system in the western part of Odisha. After completing long-term Fellowship in Vitreoretinal from the prestigious Aravind eye hospital Madurai, Tamilnadu, he joined as a medical officer there and is serving there till now. In his academic achievements, second position in Delhi University in annual DO examination, Prem Prakash Disha award for best paper of strabismus in annual conference of All India Ophthalmology conference ( AIOC ) in the year 2014, Second position in annual quiz of AIOC 2014, First position in the Annual quiz of Delhi Ophthalmology conference in the year 2012 etc. are a few to mention. He has more than 10 indexed peer-reviewed publications. His clinical areas of interest are medical and surgical Retina and Cataract surgery. He has a research interest in the study of Choroidal structure, Diabetic Retinopathy, Intravital injections and Tele Ophthalmology for resource-limited community population.
