Dr Shrey did his M.B.B.S at the SDM college of medical sciences and hospital in Dharwad, Karnataka and then went on to pursue masters in Ophthalmology from Sri Devaraj URS medical college, Kolar, Karnataka, India. After finishing M.S. started practicing at his home town, Shamli, a small district in Western Uttar Pradesh, India, where he ran a part charity clinic catering to cataract surgery needs of the poor. At present, he is pursuing fellowship in medical retina and uvea from Drishti eye institute, Derhadun, India. Dr Shrey has research interests in the areas of Ocular imaging, especially choroidal vascularity index, Diabetic retinopathy and uveitis.
