Biography


Prof. Koh is Managing Partner and Senior Consultant at the Eye and Retina Surgeons, Camden Medical Centre, Singapore, Executive Director of ESASO (Asia)and Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore. He is a Visiting Consultant to Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), National University Hospital Services (NUHS) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is past President of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmology, and former member of the Executive Council of the College of Ophthalmologists, Singapore. He is a current member of the Executive Council of the Asia Pacific Vitreoretinal Society (APVRS) and was a committee member of the Executive Council of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). Prof. Koh completed Fellowships in Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital & Institute of Ophthalmology, London, UK and the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, USA. He is also the Principal Investigator of the pivotal EVEREST clinical trials in PCV treatment. He sits on several international advisory boards and steering committees, including the LUMINOUS, HAWK/HARRIER and SAKURA trials. The recipient of numerous prestigious awards, Dr Koh has authored and edited many publications in the field of ophthalmology and Retina.
